This is a typical still aperitif from Champagne. It is a drink made from two parts must and one part alcohol (Champagne brandy).
The addition of alcohol kills the yeast and stops alcoholic fermentation. The blend is then matured for one year. It is fruity, naturally sweet and alcoholic drink, classified as a Vin Doux Naturel (18 degrees) rather than a spirit. Served well-chilled, it is ideal as an aperitif or with dessert.
